Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau
The Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau is one of the most research-intensive universities of applied sciences in Germany. More than 203,000 euros in third-party funding per professor were raised in 2015. With 11 million euros in 2017, the university raised another two-thirds of its basic budget. TH Wildau is particularly distinguished by three research foci that have been recognized by the German Rectors' Conference on the research map:

Computer Science/Telematics
Optical Technologies/Photonics
In addition, the university specializes in the research fields of Production and Materials, Transportation and Logistics, and Management and Law.
TH Wildau has also recognized advancing digitalization as the development driver in its research and teaching activities and has therefore defined the topic of digital integration as a cross-cutting theme for the coming years.
