The CURPAS e. V. and the European Drones Cooperation (EDC) are inviting all interested parties to take part in an exciting survey concerning the transposition of EU law into national law in the field of the use of drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems, UAS). The association wants to use the results in order to gain insight into the economic potential of professionally used UAS
The CURPAS survey aims to use the expert opinion of professionals involved with drones to assess the impact of transposition of European UAS requirements to national legislation. Moreover, this topic raises yet another question of how to evaluate the further development of the economic use of UAS. CURPAS e.V. and the EDC would like to actively promote the development process and the economic use of autonomous systems in Germany and throughout Europe.
Anyone interested in the professional use of UAS and the current national/European legal situation in this area is welcome to participate.
The survey starts now and ends in mid-May 2021
The European Drones Cooperation (EDC) is pleased to welcome the
Andalucia Aerospace Cluster as a new member. On 05 March 2021, the signing of the contract took place in a digital conference attended by the other EDC members from Poland, France, Belgium, Denmark and Germany.
The EDC is a cooperation of European drone organisations founded in June 2019 on the initiative of CURPAS e. V. and UAS Denmark. The members of the EDC aim to contribute to innovation in the field of drone technologies and their use across Europe. In addition, the EDC intents to establish itself as a common voice to strengthen its members on a European level. Together, the network has participated in European funding programmes and at several events and conferences.
