Jakub Ryzenko is an expert in space policy, use of modern technologies for security and in particular use of satellite applications and drones for crisis management.

In 2004-2008 he was the Head of the Polish Space Office. Since then he has been actively involved in promotion of space applications in Poland. He was a space policy advisor to the Ministry of Economy and an expert of the Polish EU Presidency in the field of use of modern technologies and satellite applications for civil security. As a trained physical geographer, Dr. Hans-Peter Thamm has 30 years of experience in remote sensing and geoinformatics.

His scientific career led to a professorship in remote sensing, geoinformatics and cartography at the FU Berlin. Since 2004 he has been working with UAV and in 2005 he founded Geo-Technic. It designs UAS ("Unmanned Aerial Systems") and finds integrated solutions for space-related questions. As one of the early users, he has also been working with UAS in agriculture since 2005. He left the university in 2015 to devote his full-time job to the topic of UAS and to close the large gap between the state of the art of science and practice.

In addition to setting up Aerolution, which became Germandrones GmbH in 2016, he managed numerous projects with UAS for agriculture, also in Africa, Asia and Australia.
